Empowering learners for a brighter future

Established in 2024, Chitrakut Montessori House of Children embodies our deep desire to extend the benefits of the Montessori approach to more children.
We offer a pre-primary Montessori program for children aged two years to six years.
Under the care of our enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Montessori teachers, each child flourishes in an environment rooted in the spirit and philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. Our staff, trained by the Indian Montessori Centre, ensures a nurturing atmosphere for every child.
Admission to Chitrakut Montessori House of Children is open for children between 2.0 and 6.0 years. Parents are welcome to observe our Montessori environment. Please schedule an appointment with our office for a visit.

Our world doesn’t need more Mechanical people, OR our Children’s are NOT Memory devices to remember GB’s of information. We need smart person, who can think with boundary less, rather than following instructions.
This requires a fundamentally different model of Education, one that promotes Individuality, Imagination, Creativity and Problem Solving
Over the last 100’s years, there have been several Systems, educators and philosophers who have campaigned against traditional education systems through their writings and model schools.
However, more than A century ago, Maria Montessori blazed her own trail through this very path, leaving us with a fully formed educational system that drives Happiness on the earth for next century.

Child-Centered Learning: Children are at the heart of the educational process. The focus is on nurturing their individual interests, learning styles, and pace of development.
Prepared Environment: The classroom is carefully designed with child-sized furniture, accessible materials, and a sense of order. It's a space where children can explore freely and safely.
Self-Directed Activity: Children are given the freedom to choose their own activities and work at their own pace. This fosters independence, self-motivation, and a love of learning.
Hands-on Learning: Montessori materials are designed to be manipulated and explored. This allows children to learn through direct experience and develop a deeper understanding of concepts.
Mixed-Age Classrooms: Children of different ages learn together, creating opportunities for peer teaching and social development. Older children can mentor younger ones, while younger children are inspired by the older ones.
